About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Financial record keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Tally software
2. Balance sheet management: Prepare and analyze balance sheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
3. Auditing: Conduct regular internal audits to identify discrepancies and ensure financial integrity
4. Profit and loss preparation: Generate timely and accurate profit and loss statements, providing insights into the company's financial performance
5. Expense management: Monitor and control expenses, highlighting areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvement
6. Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring adherence to relevant tax laws and regulations
7. Financial analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and business planning
8. Month-end closing: Facilitate month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and reconciliations
9. Financial reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators

Who can apply

1. Candidates with minimum 3 years of experience.

Other requirements

1. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field CPA or equivalent certification preferred

2. Minimum of 35 years of experience in real estate accounting or related fields such as property management, real estate development, or public accounting

3. Proficiency in accounting principles, including property financial analysis, lease accounting, and depreciation methods Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (eg, GAAP, IFRS, IRS regulations

4. Proficiency in accounting software (eg, Tally, MRI, QuickBooks, and Microsoft

5. Excel Experience with real estate-specific software is a plus

6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders, present financial information, and convey complex concepts in a clear manner

7. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

8. High ethical standards and integrity to handle sensitive financial information and maintain confidentiality
