As a WordPress developer, you will be responsible for the management of our website and the development of new web pages or websites. Moreover, you will be responsible for both back-end and front-end development, including creating WordPress themes and plugins. The ideal candidate should have an excellent understanding of design principles and user experience, as well as expertise in front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You should possess a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems and the ability to think on your toes.
Key responsibilities:
1. Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins using Elementor Pro to create exceptional and highly functional website experiences
2. Collaborate with designers to translate Figma design mockups and wireframes into fully responsive WordPress websites
3. Integrate third-party APIs and services to extend website functionality
4. Write clean, well-documented, and secure JavaScript code to enhance website interactivity
5. Optimise website performance and user experience for search engines (SEO)
6. Troubleshoot and resolve website console issues to ensure optimal functionality
7. Maintain and update WordPress core, themes, and plugins to address security vulnerabilities and ensure compatibility
8. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple projects simultaneously
9. Stay up-to-date on the latest WordPress trends and best practices
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
1. Experience: 2 years in web design and WordPress development
2. Proficiency in frontend development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
3. Strong understanding of WordPress development, including themes, plugins, and APIs
4. Familiarity with WordPress security best practices and website optimization techniques
5. Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
6. Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
7. Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
8. Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
9. Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome Inspector, etc
10. Ability to convert comprehensive layouts and wireframes into working HTML pages
11. Laptop for office usage
12. Bonus points if you enjoy playing cricket or engaging in Bollywood trivia on the sideline
